The New European Bauhaus – Wood4Bauhaus

WoodCircus coordinator and member of the leadership groups on Bioeconomy, Food, Food Waste and Construction and Infrastructure of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ECESP), Prof. Dr. Anne-Christine Ritschkoff (VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd.) will be one of the moderators of the upcoming Wood4Bauhaus virtual conference on the 8th of April 2021. She will moderate the part entitled « Good practices and solutions of Circular Economy and Green Building ».
Concentrating on the role of circular bio-based materials and solutions for a sustainable, affordable and beautiful transformation of the built environment, the conference « aims to raise awareness for the transformative power of the Circular Economy, put a spotlight on the versatility of innovative wood-based products and building systems, and propose dedicated co-creation partnerships with the wood sector for the New European Bauhaus ».
The event is co-hosted by InnovaWood, European Panel Federation (EPF), The European Confederation of Woodworking Industries (CEI-Bois), The European Organisation of the Sawmill Industry (EOS), European Federation of Building and Woodworkers (EFBWW), and Horizon 2020 projects BASAJAUN and WoodCircus.
